About Me
Hello! everyone... I am Subir Kr. Ray 26 years old, born and brought up in a remote village named as Saralia (Near Joyrambati) Bankura, West Bengal, India. I am a PhD student at Department of Physical Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education & Research, Kolkata, India. Currently I am pursuing research in Localised Surface Plasmon Resonance and FANO Resonance. I have done my schooling from Charuipata Vidyasagar High School (up to VIIIth level); Shyambazar G.C. Sen High School (WBBSE)up to Xth level in 2003 , then I did my Higher Secondary from Badanganj High School (WBCHSE) in 2005. Then I completed my graduation in Physics(Hons.) from Netaji Mahavidyalaya (Burdwan University) in 2009. After that I got selected in PET-2009, through which I opted to study M.Sc. in Physics in one of the finest University in the country, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). I have completed M.Sc. from BHU in 2011. Now I am pursuing research in another best institute of the country, IISER-Kolkata. Life here at IISER-K is very exciting as I am fortunate to have one of the best faculties, my guide Dr.Nirmalya Ghosh, well-equipped Lab & Research Environment.
My strengths are my attitude that I like to take challenges, my way of thinking is that I take both success and failure in a balanced manner, I believe in myself and my hard work and I want perfection in everything. I accept my weaknesses and always trying to overcome it. My ethic is "Success is the Height of Bounce After Faliure."
